Siemens Teachers as Researchers Program Provisions for Teachers Program Provisions for Teachers: ü Paid travel (purchased roundtrip airline flights or up to $500 round-trip mileage reimbursement) ü Paid lodging – double occupancy housing at the Comfort Inn, Oak Ridge, TN ü Paid meals ü Paid entrance fees for field trips and cultural activities ü $300 stipend ü $500 mini-grant to purchase equipment and/or supplies for the classroom All stipend payments paid by ORAU directly to participants and on behalf of Siemens Teachers as Researchers program, are considered taxable by the U.S. Federal government and should be reported annually.
