 2011 Oak Ridge Science Camp Who: Middle School Students - rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders Where: Oak Ridge Associated Universities, Oak Ridge, TN When: July 17 -22, 2011- 8:30 to 4:30 Monday - Friday What: Learn about Climate, Global Warming, and Energy. Students will be divided into different focus groups. Based on the assigned group, students will build solar cars, wind turbines, or make biofuels. Groups will tour research areas of Oak Ridge National Laboratory, NOAA, or Buffalo Mountain. What to know: Students must provide their own transportation to and from the Camp each day and bring a lunch. Transportations to events or tours during the day will be provided by the Camp.
